David Sumner, CEO, American Radio Relay League (ARRL)
As mentioned in a recent Broadband over Power Line World article, David Sumner, CEO of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), which represents the interests of "about three million ham radio operators worldwide including 680,000 in the United States," was scheduled to participate at a conference sponsored by the Columbia Institute for Tele-Information (CITI) on Friday, March 18, 2005, in New York City.
This conference was called to discuss "Alternative Broadband Platforms." Mr. Sumner has made available to Broadband over Power Line World a copy of his remarks at that event.
