David Thomson is a leading film historian and author who was asked by his friend Sonny Mehta, president and editor-in-chief of Alfred A Knopf, to edit and write an afterword to Fan-Tan, a novel that had once been a screenplay created by the collaboration of Marlon Brando and Donald Cammell.

David Thomson appears now on Etopia Media's Book World to talk about the book and how it was created, including his part in that process.
