Solar energy proponent and champion Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today announced his plan to encourage the creation of one million California homes equipped with solar photovoltaic panels to vastly increase the decentralized generation of electricity within the state.
Said the Governor:
"This proposal is about smart, innovative and environmentally friendly technologies that will help improve the state's ability to meet peak electricity demand while cutting energy costs for homeowners for years to come," said Governor Schwarzenegger. "Once implemented, it will establish California as a world leader in solar technology."
