Charles S. Swartz is the CEO and Executive Director of the Entertainment Technology Center (ETC), an organized research unit at the University of California (USC) within the School of Cinema-Television, founded in 1993.

As such, Mr. Swartz hosts occasional screenings of new films in the digital cinema format at the ETC's Digital Cinema Laboratory® at the Hollywood Pacific Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.

introductions to last night's digital cinema screening of Spike Lee's "Inside Man"

Last night, April 10, 2006, Mr. Swartz and the Entertainment Technology Center at USC hosted a digital cinema screening of Spike Lee's new action-thriller "Inside Man," starring Denzel Washington, Jody Foster, and Clive Owen, at the Hollywood Pacific Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.

In addition to Mr. Swartz' remarks about the digital cinema screening series being presented by the ETC, the digital projection of "Inside Man" was preceded by additional comments from Wade Hanniball, director, content technology, at Universal Pictures Technology.

Alone among the Hollywood press, Etopia Entertainment News was there in the Hollywood Pacific Theatre to cover this event, and, using the latest in digital video technology, recorded the introductions to "Inside Man" by Charles Swartz and Wade Hanniball.
