Etopia Media Medical News Network spoke today with Dr. Neil Martin, Professor and Chief, Division of Neurosurgery at UCLA Medical School, and Medical Director of the Neurosurgery ICU at UCLA Medical Center, about a trial now underway there to explore the effectiveness of the RP-6 robots in the delivery of "intensivist" medical services to intensive care unit patients.
The RP-6 medical robots from InTouch Health use advanced and mobile video teleconferencing equipment and software to connect patients and doctors at a distance. Etopia Media Medical News Network used its own system of advanced teleconferencing and recording equipment and software to conduct a remote video interview with Dr. Martin between the Etopia Media studio and Dr. Martin's office at the UCLA Medical Center.
