Jason Cato is the Assistant City Editor at The Herald, a newspaper based in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He's also the reporter who's been covering the Christopher Pittman case since late 2001, when the then-12-year-old was charged with murdering his grandparents and setting fire to their house.

Now the case has evolved into an epochal confrontation between Pittman's defense's argument that the Paxil and Zoloft he'd been taking before and during the time when these tragic events occurred were responsible for what he did and the argument of the makers of these powerful drugs, GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer, respectively, that neither they nor their products are to blame in any way for what happened.
