Maine, Arizona, and Connecticut use Clean Money/Clean Elections

Clean Money/Clean Elections are already in place in the states of Maine and Arizona, where they were implemented through the initiative process, and were recently approved, in the first such case of electeds voting to change the system that put them in office, by the Connecticut Legislature for use in the Nutmeg State starting at the end of 2006.

Legislation to implement a Clean Money/Clean Elections program for the City of Los Angeles is now pending in the City Council there.
