The national convention of the Libertarian Party was held over the Memorial Day weekend in Atlanta. It didn't cost U.S. taxpayers anything.

The national convention of the Democratic Party is being held as this page is being composed, and it's costing U.S. taxpayers $40 million dollars.

Libertarian Party National Chair Mike Dixon said in a press release on Tuesday that "If John Kerry and John Edwards really care about the little guy, here's their chance to prove it: Give the money back."
