Tom McClintock, California State Senator
Tom McClintock is a California State Senator perhaps best known nationally for his strong showing in the 2003 gubernatorial recall election, in which he received over a million votes, constituting 13% of the vote, and finished third, behind the leading Democratic candidate and the winner, the current governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Senator McClintock is one of the co-authors of the official ballot argument against Proposition 71.
