U.S. Senate with Senate Office Buildings

On December 13, 2005, the Community Broadband Coalition (CBC) sent a letter to the one hundred member of the U.S. Senate, urging them to become cosponsors of S. 1294, the Community Broadband Act of 2005, a bill that would both block states from prohibiting the creation of municipal broadband networks and prevent cities from discriminating against private providers of broadband service.
