Scott Lomond, President and COO of Berkeley, California-based SightSpeed, has appeared twice before on
Entertainment Technology World. The first time was on July 30, 2005, when he appeared in an article entitled
"Scott Lomond, EVP at SightSpeed, talks about the latest developments regarding his company's family- and personal-oriented videoconferencing solution". His second appearance was on February 7, 2006, when he was featured in an article called
"Scott Lomond, President and COO at SightSpeed, talks about the upgrade of his company's videoconferencing software to Version 4.5".
Mr. Lomond appears again today on
Entertainment Technology World to talk about the recent launch of
SightSpeed 5.0, a software upgrade most notable for enhancing the quality of video available using this videoconferencing program and for some additional features allowing SightSpeed users to more easily communicate with people still using the legacy phone networks.
