Robert Fogel and Rick Herrmann are two people at Intel who work on a day-to-day basis to foster and expand the grid world. Robert Fogel is responsible for grid strategy and business and solutions development, and for a cross-division grid computing team. Rick Herrmann is manager of the Worldwide High Performance and Grid Computing Program Office
Fogel and Herrmann sat down (in widely-separated places) with Grid World reporter Marc Strassman today to discuss the origins, structure, some of the details, and promise of the emerging grid "ecosystem." You can hear that conversation by clicking here.
The phone connection with Rick Herrmann was not, unfortunately, as good as the one with Robert Fogel, so you may need to turn your volume up some in order to hear what he has to say. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
