William A. Draves is President of the Learning Resources Network, "an international association providing information and consulting services to any organization offering lifelong learning."

Along with co-author Julie Coates, Bill Draves has written Nine Shift—Work, life and education in the 21st century, a book that describes and analyzes the economic and social transformation of the United States at the turn of the 20th and the turn of the 21st centuries, showing how the car in the first instance and the Internet in the second radically changed everything.
