SOHOware's AeroGuard™ AGN1200 Series MIMO WLAN Access Point (AP)

SOHOware, already a pioneer in the wireless local area network (WLAN) space, is now the first company to implement a MIMO-based WLAN for small and medium-sized businesses, scaleable for use in the enterprise.

On January 24, 2005, SOHOware, which distributes its products though an extensive VAR network, announced, in a press release entitled "World's First True MIMO WLAN Switch," that was releasing a "MIMO based WLAN Switch" offering a "centralized management and policy based security solution through Embedded WLAN Switch Appliance (EWSA™) software."

The SOHOware MIMO WLAN implementation is called AeroGuard™ and is based on True MIMO™ technology from Airgo Networks and supports standards-based 802.11a/b/g in single and dual radio AP models.
