Washington State Senator Eric Oemig (D-45th)

Eric Oemig, formerly a software performance engineer at Microsoft and now the Democratic Washington State Senator from the 45th Senatorial District, announced today that he will, on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, "sponsor a joint memorial to Congress to request an investigation into the activities of the president and the vice president in justifying the invasion and occupation of Iraq."

This statement appears in a media advisory entitled "Sen. Oemig to Congress: ‘Put impeachment back on the table.’"

Senator Oemig will introduce his proposal and answer questions at a press conference at 1 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 14) in Senate Hearing Room 2 of the John A. Cherberg Building in Olympia, Washington State.
