Building on both SBC's new Unified Communications platform and its "Project Lightspeed" $4 billion fiber optic FTTH/FTTN buildout, this enhanced SBC-Yahoo! alliance is designed to provide integrated convergent content and control management from Cingular cell phones, SBC landline phones, Yahoo! homepages, and other attached IP devices.
Pricing and video production plans remain unannounced at this time. Ms. Koenig indicated that some of the convergent services envisioned under this alliance will become available early in 2005, with further rollouts throughout the year.
