Gazoo Garov and Tark Hax interviewed by Ramon Federal at Ségolène Royal‘s virtual campaign headquarters in Second Life, April 23, 2007
Ségolène Royal, who came second in the first round of the French presidential elections, held on April 22, 2007, has created a
virtual campaign headquarters in virtual place Second Life where her supporters, and others, regularly gather to talk politics and discuss her chances of coming first in the May 6, 2007, second round of these elections.
Ms. Royal is the candidate of the French Socialist Party and the first women with a real chance of becoming President of France. Her centre-right opponent, Nicolas Sarkozy, came first in the April 22, 2007, round of balloting.
World Chat Show host Ramon Federal spoke this afternoon, Second Life time (Pacific Daylight Time), with several of Ms. Royal’s virtual supporters at her in-world campaign headquarters, discussing the two rounds of the French presidential election mostly with Segolene supporters Gazoo Garov and Tark Hax, although the interview with them also includes comments from a number of other bystanders.
As a courtesy to Mr. Federal, who has only limited French, and other non-French-but-English speakers, Messers Garov and Hax, as well as some of the bystanders, spoke during this interview in very passable English.
